group purchase see the Kickoff Meeting presentation on this site. (Click here for presentation)
<Note: If you are a solar installer/integrator company
interested in the competitive bid process (RFP) for the 2014 Solarize Garland
program, please use the “Contact Us” page to provide your company
information.>
The tentative timeline for the project is given below.
Open Enrollment – February 6 through April 30, 2014
---- CLICK HERE to ENROLL ----
The project will proceed to completion if we have a minimum
of 20 enrollees by March 29, 2014. The
more people that signup and elect to have PV solar systems installed, the
larger the potential group purchase discount.
Solarize Garland will plan an information session in early
March for those that enroll or are thinking about enrolling. Solarize Garland can arrange to have
information sessions for your HOA, church or civic organization too.
If you are thinking about enrolling you should review and
perform the home Homework Assignment posted on the Solarize Plano website:
Homework Assignment. The homework
assignment will help you decide if you home is a good candidate for solar and
the size of the system you need. Also, Review
the brief list of Frequently Asked Questions - see Solarize Plano Project
Frequently Asked Questions. Enroll on
the Solarize Garland site: ENROLL HERE.
.
Reminder - we need at least 5 enrollees to participate in
the solar installer selection process as part of a RFP (request for proposal)
Team. Please consider being part of the
RFP Team.
Solarize Garland is focused on Decision Point 1 now. Decision Points 2 and 3 are presented to
provide a complete project view. As the
project moves through the Decision Point 1 process, enrollees can decide if
they want to move forward through Decision Points 2 and 3.
No later than April 30, 2014
After doing your homework and participating in information
sessions, you determine that you are a good candidate for a PV solar system.
You then decide to proceed with a home site assessment and obtain a quote from
the project selected company.
May 1 to 31, 2014
You have reviewed the contract provided by the project-selected company and you sign the contract to proceed with the installation.
Installations: To begin in June 2014
