Update - Moving Ahead

Solarized Garland continues to enroll participants in the PV solar group purchase project.  We now have enough participants to begin the process of selecting a PV solar installation company.  The process starts with the writing of an RFP (request for proposal) by volunteers form the participants.

The Solarize Garland group purchase enrollment is open until the end of April.  To Enroll, Click HERE.  Enrollment does NOT obligate you to purchase a PV system.  However, it will help you learn if you home is suitable for solar, the size of the system you will need and the approximate cost of the system. 

On March 13 Solarize Garland held another information session.  Garland Mayor Doug Athas attended.  After the meeting Mayor Athas posted the following on his Facebook page:
